A Look Back
Here are two paintings that recall work I was doing in the late 1990s, That work was characterized by a central vertical element that divided the picture plane and created two sides that had a dialogue with one another, echoing one another. These two new paintings revisit those elements while adding some new wrinkles.

Hello, Bennett. It is wonderful to find your art alive and well. I hope it is a source of joy and peace (more so, I imagine, than being an ID specialist in this dystopian time). If you don't remember me, I'm the wife of Andrew Goldschneider (Jerry Nichols' step-son) and a long-time friend of Doug Conaway (Temple Rheumatology many years ago). Andrew tried to reach you the other day, to let you know of a small, informal luncheon to honor Jerry, who passed away October 10. It is being held at Le Viet (restaurant at 1019 S 11th St in South Philadelphia) this Saturday (10/25) from noon until 2:30, with dessert at Gwen's apartment (a short walk) after. We didn't want you to miss it if you would like to attend. Feel free to contact me at 610.563.5243 or debra.dreger@icloud.com. I hope you are well.
