A pair of late June paintings
During the summer I like to paint on our little back porch. The light is good, I can listen to the birds, and I have space to make larger paintings than those I can make in the house. But, the unusually hot weather during most of June made it uncomfortable to be on the porch, and the stronger than normal "breezes" blew pollen and leaf debris into the paint. So I retreated to the inside and made these two paintings. Acrylic paint on paper about 9 inches square.
