Eight Paintings, August 2016
Bennett says: Despite the oppressive heat and the humidity that made it hard for paint to dry, I enjoyed making eight paintings during my August vacation. Among other things, these paintings are about edges, figure-ground issues, and color relationships. They are all acrylic on paper and each is about 13 inches square. I hope you enjoy them.

I like the way the background texture becomes richer & more tactile as one painting follows another.
