A Productive and Satisfying Vacation

Bennett says:

Here are seven new paintings in one series and two (so far) in another. The remarkably moderate temperatures and low humidity this August enabled me to do more vacation painting than usual. It was possible to sit on my porch and work without sweltering, and the drier than usual air made the paint dry more quickly, and that in turn made the painting process move along more quickly. I had fun and feel good about the work.

Nicely done! My favorites are from the beginning of the month. I like how the negative vertical line continues through the unordered shapes, and am pulled into the depth of the background. -- Lynn

Dear Bennett, I love how the subtle color variations speak to each other across shapes! cheers Robin
